NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONING
Notice is hereby given, that the White County Area Plan Commission, on the 17th day of February, 2010, at 7:00 p.m., in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room, Second Floor, County Building, 110 N Main Street, Monticello, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to the zoning ordinance of White County, Indiana, a part of the Comprehensive Plan for White County, Indiana.
The proposed amendment involves consideration of a change of the zoning classification from the A-1, General Agriculture District to the I-2, Heavy Industrial District (for the purpose of limestone quarrying, processing and related uses) for the following described real estate, to wit:
SW ¼ & NW ¼ OF THE SE ¼ S14, T28N, R4W, Monon Township, White County, Indiana. Property is located approximately one mile east of Monon on the north side of State Road 16 between 75E and Lowes Road.

Written suggestions or objections to the provisions of said proposal may be filed with the Area Plan Commission Office at, or before such meeting and will be heard by the White County Area Plan Commission at the time and place designated. Said hearing may be continued from time to time as may be necessary.
Interested persons desiring to present their views on the proposed amendment, either in writing or verbally, will be given the opportunity to be heard at the above mentioned time and place.
